Writer / Director / Producer
Leo is a Montreal-based film-maker with twenty-five years of writing, directing and producing experience for major broadcasters including BBC, Channel 4, ARTE, APTN, Radio Canada, Discovery ID, AHC, History Channel, National Geographic, and others.

His work as a showrunner, series / episodic director and writer includes Fatal Vows and Guilty Rich for Discovery ID/Amazon Prime, Natural Born Outlaws and How the World Ends for AHC, Trashopolis for History Television, Monsterquest for History Channel (US) and The Cell (Les Mystères de Monte Sana), a feature documentary-drama for ARTE about the politics and science of stem cell research (nominated for best science/tech doc at the Banff Television Festival.)

Other credits include the TVO/Radio-Canada science series Human Plus, about the future of the human senses, the Discovery Canada/Five series Mayday, and That’s AWSM!, a fun formatted series for indigenous teens.

Leo has also ghost-written two non-fiction books, which were published to accompany the BBC Science landmark series Human Instinct and Superhuman, and he is currently developing a feature documentary about biodiversity and the sixth extinction.
